Preparation

You know that you are going through a significant event when it requires that the refrigerator be cleaned out...

The fridge is clean, the bags are very close to being completely packed.  I have never spent two weeks away from home with a 5 month old baby.  However, it feels like we are moving.  Stroller, crib and play saucer...oh my!!

The babies are resting.  Tomorrow will be a significant day in all of our lives as we depart for the purpose set before us.  The babies will be separated, as we are only taking Josie for the journey.  I pray for peace with both of the babies as this will be their first moments and days separated from each other.  As a mother, I am torn with feelings of sadness for leaving Elijah and Noah and feelings of hope and excitement for Josie.  Thank you, God, for Meme and Nana.  The boys will be in good hands, I know.

To the many people who have sent cards of encouragement and love and to all of you who are praying, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We covet your prayers.  Pray for safe travel, peace and rest for us as we drive the 14 hours to San Antonio over the next few days.

...pray for one another, that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working
James 5:16

Trust in the Lord forever,
for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.
